Come and experience the charm of our beautifully renovated 18th Century farmhouse. While we have kept many of the original features, we have also incorporated modern amenities to ensure your comfort. Our goal is to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere for your stay. Relax and enjoy the sunshine on our terrace, take a nap in the shade, or uncork a bottle of wine and unwind. Your hosts, Carol and Ted, will go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable time in the picturesque Berry countryside. Please note that our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

At Aux Prés du Berry B&B, you will find yourself surrounded by 2 acres of stunning landscaped countryside. Take a leisurely stroll through our gardens, which boast a variety of trees, shrubs, and beautiful flowering borders. Our fruit and vegetable gardens provide a plentiful harvest throughout the year for both guests and ourselves.

Enjoy a relaxing dining experience in our garden pergola, weather permitting. Our evening meals often feature organic and seasonal produce sourced from our own garden. We take pride in freshly preparing all our meals and can accommodate any special dietary needs, including vegetarian options.

For your convenience, our pet-friendly room is located on the ground floor for easy access. If you plan to bring your well-behaved pet, please inform us in advance, and we will happily welcome them if our pet-friendly room is available.

Our location offers the perfect blend of serenity and accessibility. While we provide a peaceful setting, we are easily reachable from the motorway, making Aux Prés du Berry an ideal destination for both week-long holidays and as a stopover for travelers heading to the South of France and the Mediterranean. We are conveniently located just 6 hours from Calais and a mere 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. Limoges and Poitiers airports are within a 1-1.5 hour drive respectively. The main train route from Paris to Toulouse also stops nearby in the towns of Argenton sur Creuse or Chateauroux.

Surrounded by an array of fantastic tourist sites, the historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse is only 8 km away, while Chateauroux, the capital of Indre (Department 36), is within a 30 km radius. The Eguzon lake-park and the Three Lakes district, known for their breathtaking views and various water sports activities, are just a short 20-minute drive away. Additionally, the Brenne National Park is located minutes from our doorstep. We provide all the necessary information to help you make the most of your stay in our region and are more than happy to assist you in any way we can.

Nous avons passé une bonne soirée conviviale.
Si vous cherchez ou dormir en descendant dans le sud, c'est une bonne adresse (également pour parfaire votre anglais...)

Directions

To reach Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, follow these travel directions:

1. Exit the A20 motorway at junction 17.
2. Look for signs indicating Montlucon, La Chatre, Neuvy Saint-Sepulcre, D927.
3. Take the D927 and continue for approximately 6 km.
4. After passing a small lake on the right side, you will see an off-road on your right labeled D30 direction Chavin.
5. Look for our sign, Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, and turn onto the road.
6. Drive for 4 km until you reach a stop sign.
7. Turn right into the hamlet of Bonnilly.
8. In case you miss a turn on the D927, you will pass a small airport on the right. The next road after that will be the new D40 direction of Chavin.
9. The hamlet of Bonnilly is the first one you will encounter. If you go too far, you have missed your destination.
10. Look for the 3rd street on the right, where you will find a sign leading you down our road.
11. The road may be narrow, but continue until you reach the end, where you will see our sign and the Gites de France sign as well.
