Description for B&B:
Situated in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille's southern area, this bed & breakfast is nestled within a family-owned property. The establishment has ingeniously transformed the entire space to encompass a restaurant, open for lunch, as well as comfortable guest rooms. The property's overall design is inspired by environmental consciousness, evident in the cultivation of produce for the restaurant, the incorporation of solar panels to sustain water and electricity consumption, and the use of eco-friendly materials during renovation. Aptly named Ginkgo, in homage to the legendary Ginkgo Biloba tree, this delightful retreat comprises three double rooms, each with its own unique vegetable theme. While check-in is available throughout the day, room access is only permitted after 3pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 5pm from Thursday to Sunday. Check-out time is 11am if the room is occupied on the same day, or 3pm if the room is vacant. For any further inquiries, kindly consult the host. Guests are invited to relish the expansive outdoor space, including a visit to the vegetable garden, and ample parking is provided. The restaurant operates from Thursday to Sunday, serving lunch from 12pm to 3pm. Additionally, upon request and subject to availability, the establishment offers evening meals and high-end picnic baskets. For further details, please consult the host. Conveniently located just a short distance from the National Park "Les Calanques" (accessible within 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes via public transportation, or a 25-minute walk), as well as the sea (10 minutes by car, 30 minutes via public transportation), Ginkgo also offers day trips on a sailing boat, accompanied by a local skipper, to explore the treasures that Marseille has to offer. For pricing and availability, please contact the host.Reviews
