Description for B&B:

Welcome to La Fontaine du Mas, a magnificent mansion built in the 17th century, once home to the regent of the 4 castles of Thiviers. We are delighted to open our doors to visitors throughout the year.

Whether you are passing through or in need of a rejuvenating retreat, we extend a warm invitation to both young and old. Our facilities include an educational farm, a vibrant vegetable garden, and a wide range of sports and cultural activities, ensuring a truly exotic experience during your stay.

Situated opposite Thiviers station, the starting point of the Flow Vélo®, we offer easy access to a scenic route that will take you all the way to the ocean, including the picturesque and green countryside, as well as charming towns and villages of Charente-Maritime's island of Aix. Enjoy a peaceful and tranquil cycling journey along the water's edge.

The Dordogne department boasts the highest number of castles in France, with over 619 castles and 382 residences. This makes Périgord the renowned "country of 1001 castles".

Furthermore, Thiviers is one of the six gateway towns to the Périgord-Limousin regional natural park, a haven of natural beauty and biodiversity.

Conveniently located and easily accessible by train, bike, or car, La Fontaine du Mas is the perfect choice for an unforgettable stay.
