Description for Gite
Our gite, located in a charming village just 6 km from Nuits-St-Georges and 18 km from Beaune, is attached to our Longère "La Cotinière". It offers close proximity to popular tourist attractions such as Clos de Vougeot, the Abbey of Cîteaux, and the Hospices de Beaune.Although our gite is connected to our main house, there is a locked separation door ensuring privacy. You can access the gite independently through an exterior door that leads to a fully equipped kitchen area, open to the living room featuring a cozy Jotul wood stove and fan coil units for year-round comfort.
The ground floor sleeping area offers a comfortable sofa that converts into a 160 bed, along with a shower room and toilet. The second sleeping area is a loft-style bedroom with a luxurious Sofitel king size 200x200 bed, providing a picturesque view of our garden as the morning sun streams in.
While we are still working on the exterior renovations, the garden is accessible for your enjoyment. Additionally, if you are a larger group of up to 8 people, we have two guest rooms available on-site.
For your convenience, we offer parking in our closed courtyard and a garage to securely store bicycles or motorcycles. Should you wish to explore the surrounding area, we can also provide two classic mountain bikes for your use.
