Discover the Eco-lodge of Saint-Maurice, conveniently situated between Saint-Flour and Murat. Nestled at the entrance of Haute Planèze, within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, this 18th century farmhouse has been tastefully renovated to offer a modern and comfortable experience, while still preserving its historical charm.Indulge in the luxury of an entirely ecological swimming pool, surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden that offers breathtaking views of the Margeride mountains. The lodge features three suites, each with its own bathroom and toilet. One suite even includes a relaxing bathtub. There is also a dormitory space that can comfortably accommodate 4 to 6 people, perfect for both children and adults.
Inside, you'll find a spacious and fully equipped American kitchen, a cozy living-dining room, a library, and a wood stove with an insert for added warmth and ambiance. The lodge can accommodate a total of 10 to 12 people. Additionally, there is an optional lodge apartment that can accommodate an additional 4 people, complete with a king-size bed and a comfortable convertible sofa.
If needed, extra beds and a baby cot with a high chair can be provided upon request. For those seeking complete privacy, the entire farmhouse can be privatized. Simply contact us for more information.
As you step outside the lodge, you'll be greeted by the vast and untouched landscapes of the basalt plateau. Situated at an altitude of 1200 meters, the summer months offer opportunities for scenic walks, mountain biking, fishing, and exploring the area's rich heritage and history. During winter, the popular Lioran ski area is only a 20-minute drive away, while cross-country ski trails can be accessed in less than 10 minutes from the farm.
