Nestled at the base of Mont Sainte-Odile, a spiritual place renowned for its breathtaking views of the Alsace plain and the Black Forest, our accommodations offer a tranquil and picturesque setting.Saint Nabor boasts an advantageous location, only 5 minutes away from Obernai, the second most visited city in the Bas-Rhin. Known for its traditional half-timbered houses, narrow streets, and historic ramparts, Obernai is a must-visit destination. Additionally, we are conveniently located 20 minutes from Strasbourg, the European capital, and 40 minutes from Colmar, another charming Alsatian town.
Surrounded by the countryside, our location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. With numerous hiking trails in the Vosges Club, opportunities for mountain biking, and even skiing nearby, there is no shortage of activities to enjoy.
In addition to the natural beauty, Saint Nabor allows visitors to immerse themselves in the enchanting charm of Alsace. Explore its rich history, partake in traditional folk festivals, and indulge in the world-famous Christmas markets.
Our house and guest rooms are situated on the road leading to Obernai, at 61 Route Obernai - 67530 Saint Nabor. Conveniently, we are only a 15-minute drive from the international airport and a short 20-minute drive from the TGV station, with direct connections to Paris. Furthermore, we are within easy reach of Germany, being only 20 minutes away.
Take advantage of the generous nature surrounding us. Whether it's the serene forest or the picturesque vineyards, our location offers ample opportunities for sports and leisure activities.
Description for Gite
Our spacious 130 m² cottage can accommodate up to six people from February to June. Located on the upper floor of a renovated Vosges sandstone barn, the cottage provides a comfortable stay with bright open spaces overlooking the garden, lily pond, and the plain of Alsace with a view of Strasbourg Cathedral. Offering all the modern comforts of an apartment, it is situated in a tranquil environment close to nature.Our ground floor apartment, "Lina & Anaë," is 70 m² and is located in the heart of the village. With two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, it is well-suited for families with two children or two couples of friends. The apartment can accommodate up to four people.
The cottage consists of a spacious entrance with stairs, a 70 m² loft-style living area with a fully equipped kitchen, leather sofas, a 120 cm TV, DVD/CD player, coffee table, and shelves. There are two futon sofa beds (90 x 190) with quilts. The kitchen includes an oven, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, processor, toaster, and kettle. A dining table with chairs and bar chairs are also provided.
The 35 m² bedroom features a 140 x 190 cm bed with a duvet, a 140 x 190 cm sofa bed with a duvet, a large wardrobe, a wardrobe, a chest, a chair, and two bedside tables. The bathroom includes a shower, sink, toilet, and storage. There is also a separate toilet and dressing area.
Outside, there is a covered gazebo with a six-seater table and chairs, a garden with a sun terrace, swing, slide, and closed water basin. One parking space is available. Unlimited wifi and underfloor heating are provided.
Upon request and subject to availability, we offer mountain bikes and hiking maps, as well as loaning baby equipment such as a cot, high chair, playpen, bath, changing table, and bottle warmer.
