The Le Clos Florésine homestead was constructed in 1852 by Charles-Louis Melchior Nolet Mayor Venette. Situated in the heart of a charming village, this house boasts an excellent location just 5 kilometers away from the center of Compiègne and the Imperial Palace. The cottage is nestled within a separate building from the main house, offering a tranquil setting with views overlooking a spacious 2000 m2 garden. During the springtime, the garden bursts with vibrant hues of irises and peonies, while in the summer, the fruit trees take center stage, showcasing a variety of raspberries, plums, cherries, apples, and pears. Additionally, the presence of chickens and sheep add to the idyllic countryside ambiance. A true delight for the senses, the garden at Le Clos Florésine offers a multitude of colors and flavors that are sure to captivate your heart.

Super chambre d'hôte ! Les hôtes font tout pour qu'on s'y sente bien et rendent le séjour très agréable. Belle maison de caractère avec une déco très sympa. Notre chambre était très spacieuse. Bruno a su nous accueillir chaleureusement et nous indiquer les bonnes adresses tout en restant très discret. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux.

Une chambre presque neuve, décoré avec gout. Un accueil chaleureux et un petit-déjeuner délicieux et copieux dans une salle très jolie. La chambre pour enfants a conquis notre petite de deux ans. Nous reviendrons sûrement.

Depuis 15 ans que je fréquente régulièrement des chambres d'hôtes, il y a bien longtemps que je n'ai pas trouvé pareil accueil et qualité. Martine est charmante. Je recommande.

Itinerary:
To reach Venette, it takes 15 minutes from the A1 motorway exit, 50 minutes from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Beauvais, and 1 hour from Paris.
If you're traveling by car from Paris, start at Porte de la Chapelle and take the A1 highway towards Lille (and Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport). Exit at Compiègne south, then at the first roundabout (junction Jean Monnet), head towards Compiègne center. At the second and third roundabouts (unnamed), continue towards Compiègne center. At the fourth roundabout (unnamed), take the A1 towards Lille and then the first exit towards Venette. Follow the signs for Venette (Carrefour and McDonald's will be on your left). At the roundabout (Amarine on your right), head towards the center of Venette. Take the fourth road on the right (pay attention to the right of way!) and you will be on rue du Général Koenig. A parking area is available in the fenced yard Florésine.
If you prefer to travel by train from Paris, go to Gare du Nord Station and take a train to Gare de Compiègne.
