Located in the heart of the charming village of Nanteuil-en-Vallée, known for its historical significance (Petite Cité de Caractère), in the beautiful region of Charente, Villa Taillefer is a spacious and private residence with a delightful walled garden that borders the serene Canal des Moines and the picturesque river Argentor.Owned and managed by Gareth and Lesley, the house has been thoughtfully decorated to create a warm and inviting ambiance, blending vibrant colors and stylish designs that pay homage to the house's rich heritage, while ensuring modern comforts for guests.
With three individually designed en-suite bedrooms to choose from, guests can enjoy a personalized and comfortable stay. The Victor Hugo suite even features its own cozy salon. The garden offers various seating areas, allowing guests to find their perfect spot to relax, whether in the sunshine or under the shade of a tree. Guests can savor a delicious breakfast on the expansive terrace or in the elegant dining room. On Sundays, table d'hotes can be arranged with prior notice. Additionally, there are two popular village restaurants just a stone's throw away.
Furthermore, well-behaved canine visitors who are friendly towards cats are welcome to stay in the ground floor bedroom, where they will be greeted by our friendly Cocker Spaniel, Isla. Our hosts are fluent in both English and French, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
