Situated in close proximity to the famous climbing sites of "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons", this charming property is also conveniently positioned within 12 km of Fontainebleau, Nemours, and Milly la Forêt.On the first floor, you will find three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own private shower room. Downstairs, there is a spacious 27 m2 room exclusively available for guests, equipped with a mini fridge, sink, and microwave for your convenience.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and enjoy the option of partaking in a delightful Table d'Hôtes experience, both of which are served in the hosts' living room with a magnificent bay window, offering a picturesque view. Located just 1 km away from the scenic Fontainebleau Forest, "Le Gîte Clos du Tertre" offers an ideal retreat. Situated in an ancient farmhouse that dates back to the French Revolution, this charming accommodation is attached to the landlord's house. The landlords, who also manage three guest rooms, provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.The gîte features a cozy living-dining room with a fireplace and a television, creating a perfect space to relax. The fully equipped American kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals. The accommodation comprises two comfortable bedrooms and a shower room with a toilet.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the gîte is conveniently located near two internationally renowned climbing sites: "Dame Jouanne" and "Les Trois Pignons." Additionally, the towns of Fontainebleau, Nemours, and Milly la Forêt are just a short 12 km drive away, offering various cultural and recreational activities.
With English-speaking hosts, communication is never a barrier. The gîte also provides a private car park for guests' convenience. Please note that pets are not allowed in this accommodation.

To get to the destination, which is 12 km South-West of Fontainebleau, you have several options:
By car:
1. If you are coming from the A6 Motorway, take Exit N°14 labeled "Ury - Malesherbes". Then, turn right onto N152 towards Orléans. Continue driving for approximately 3 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
2. Alternatively, if you are already in Fontainebleau, head towards the "Obélisque round-about". From there, take N152 towards Orléans and continue driving for approximately 12 km until you reach La Chapelle la Reine.
Once you are in La Chapelle la Reine, at the second traffic light on N152, turn left onto D16 towards "Nemours-Larchant". Afterward, take the second road on your left. The destination, Le Clos du Tertre, is located at stand N°6 on "Chemin des Vallées".
By train:
The nearest train station is Saint-Pierre les Nemours Train Station, which is located 12 km away. If arranged in advance, your hosts may be able to pick you up from this train station. Alternatively, Fontainebleau Train Station is also an option, located 15 km away.
By air:
