Description for B&B:
Welcome to Château des Landes, a delightful and serene destination that dates back to the 19th century. Recently renovated, this charming château offers a taste of country living from that era, combined with modern comforts. Nestled in a lush parkland, surrounded by a nearby farm and forest, our bed and breakfast promises a peaceful getaway. We provide five tastefully decorated guest rooms, each equipped with a private ensuite bathroom. Additionally, you have the option to dine with us in our lovely establishment. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, you can join us for an aperitif in either the garden or the salon. We also offer table d'hôtes with a four-course menu on these days. For the other days, we have a plat du jour option available.
Conveniently situated between Amiens, Le Tréport, Dieppe, and Rouen, the château is just a few kilometers away from the A28 and A29 motorways. Its central location in Normandy makes it an ideal stopover for those heading south or a perfect base for exploring the area's attractions. We would be delighted to welcome you to our home in Landes-Vieilles-et-Neuves.
The château consists of three floors. On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a salon with a charming fireplace and a piano, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a pre-dinner drink. Through the double doors, you can access the red dining room, adorned with hunting-themed decor. The kitchen leads to the conservatory, where you can help yourself to coffee, tea, or snacks throughout the day from the stand or the fridge, adding it to your room's bill.
The guest bedrooms, located on the first and second floors, offer beautiful views of our gardens. Please note that due to their positioning, the rooms may not be easily accessible for wheelchair users. During the summer, you can delight in a picnic on the lawn or play a game of croquet while savoring a refreshing drink. Alternatively, you may choose to explore the trees surrounding the château. Parking is available on-site, and we also provide a charging station for electric cars.
