Description for Gite

Located halfway between the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux, and the famous Mont-Saint-Michel, Joug d'Antan is perfectly situated for exploring and unwinding in the beautiful region of Normandy.

On the ground floor, the gite boasts exposed beams and a stone wall that preserve the original charm of the open plan lounge area. Here, guests can relax on comfortable armchairs and a cozy sofa while enjoying British and French channels on the TV. The fully equipped kitchen-diner area includes modern amenities such as a ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, and fridge/freezer.

Moving up to the first floor, guests will find a charming and spacious en-suite double bedroom with a shower, wash basin, and toilet. Additionally, a large family bedroom with two rooms provides comfort and privacy, with two full-sized single beds that can be joined together if preferred. This bedroom also features an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower above, a wash basin, and a toilet. An adjoining bedroom with two single beds completes the set-up.

The gite offers a stunning south-facing panoramic view of the countryside, and the property is surrounded by a half-acre enclosed garden. Guests can make use of the outdoor furniture, BBQ, and parasol to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.

Only 900 yards away from the lively village of Percy, guests will find all the necessary amenities such as bakeries, butchers, bar-cafés, restaurants, pubs, banks, a tourist office, and a post office. Additionally, there are doctors and a chemist nearby. The main tourist towns and sandy beaches, including Avranches, Granville, Bréhal, Coutances, and St-Lo, are easily accessible within a 25-minute drive.

At Joug d'Antan, we strive to provide an enjoyable stay for our guests. Our warm welcome awaits you, and to make your stay hassle-free, we offer an all-inclusive package that includes bed linen, hand and bath towels, and end-of-stay cleaning.
