Welcome to the Bed and Breakfast of "Le Val du Roy" in Joinville. We offer four guest rooms, each uniquely decorated to create an authentic atmosphere that transports you back in time. From canopy beds to antique furniture and traditional cupboards of Lorraine, our rooms are adorned with beams, wood paneling, and old floors. The charming seventeenth-century feel is further enhanced by the presence of various ancient trinkets that evoke a flea market aesthetic.While we prioritize historical authenticity, we have also ensured modern comfort. Our rooms are equipped with glass basins and modern showers, seamlessly blending the past with the present. Three of our rooms feature shower rooms concealed behind a screen, providing a private and enjoyable space for each guest.
The "Antoinette de Bourbon" room boasts a canopy bed and alcove, accompanied by a large separate bathroom featuring an antique bathtub and shower. This room can accommodate up to three people. The "Claude de Lorraine" room features an old double bed, an antique wardrobe, and various decorative elements such as a baby-basket and old sewing machine. It also includes a shower, toilet, and lavabo.
For those staying in the "Jean de Joinville" room, there are two old corner beds, an antique wardrobe, and a double sink. This room also provides a shower and toilet. Lastly, the spacious "Mary Stuart" room offers a double canopy bed with electric bedding, a sofa-bed for two additional guests, a dressing table, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is located on the mezzanine level. Each room is equipped with a TV for your entertainment, and free WIFI is accessible throughout the house.

Ancienne maison très romantique, chambres décorées avec le goût d'antan. On se croirait dans un autre temps. Petit-déjeuner parfait, accueil très chaleureux. Jolie décoration partout. A recommander!

Joinville is situated in the department of Haute-Marne, between Dijon and Reims, Nancy and Troyes, or Chaumont and Saint-Dizier. Upon reaching Joinville, proceed towards Wassy. The Hotel du Nord can be found on the main road. Continue a short distance uphill, and you will find the B&B "Le Val du Roy" on your left at 11 Rue Camille Gillet, behind cast iron grates at the bottom of the garden. You can park your car on the sidewalk. The owners will provide instructions on where to park for unloading luggage at 22 rue du Valleroy.
