Description for B&B:
Welcome to "Domaine Le Chec," our Chambres et Table d'Hôtes. Situated on the border of the Gers and Hautes-Pyrénées, and near Trie-sur-Baïse and Castelnau Magnoac, our charming and character-filled farmhouse offers three exceptional guest rooms. We pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. The farmhouse, built in the early twentieth century, features a spacious sitting room with a cozy open fire, wooden floors, and oak beams. Our intimate "salle à manger" provides a delightful setting for meals. The house remains cool during the summer and cozy during the winter months. Upstairs, you will find three tastefully decorated and generously sized bedrooms. Each double room boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom and unique style.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast served in our dining room or, during the warmer months, outside on the terrace or in the covered summer kitchen. We happily accommodate dogs, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Our expansive 2.5-acre garden offers breathtaking views of the Gers valleys and the Pyrenees mountains.
"Domaine Le Chec" is conveniently located approximately two and a half hours from the golden beaches of the Mediterranean and two hours from the Atlantic coast, where you can explore popular resort towns like Biarritz and St. Jean-de-Luz. It is also less than an hour from the Spanish border and the Pyrenees mountains, renowned for their ski resorts. For those seeking an active stay, the area offers opportunities for long walks, scenic bike rides, and even paragliding.
Of course, we cannot forget the gastronomic delights of the region. The Gers is famous for its duck, foie gras, and porc noir, while the vineyards of Madiran produce exceptional wines. We invite you to join us at our guest table each evening, where we serve a four-course dinner featuring fresh and seasonal products from our region, accompanied by a selection of local wines.
We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet and welcome you to "Domaine Le Chec."
