Description for B&B:
Eric and Nadine are eagerly awaiting your arrival at the truffle farm of Merigots, which is located near Montignac in the beautiful Black Périgord region. The holiday cottage they offer is a traditional périgourdin style accommodation, complete with a refreshing swimming pool. It is nestled within a sprawling 6-hectare truffle orchard, providing a serene and picturesque setting. The cottage boasts five charming rooms, each meticulously decorated with a personal touch. These delightful rooms are all located on the same level, offering a spacious 20m2 area, and feature luxurious Italian-style showers and separate toilets. Additionally, there is a convenient shower-room available. From the rooms, you can enjoy stunning views of both the inviting swimming pool and the enchanting truffle orchard. Speaking of the pool, it measures 10 by 5 meters and is treated with salt for a more pleasant and natural swimming experience.Reviews

To reach Gabillou from the A89, take the Bachellerie exit and head towards Thenon for about 10-15 minutes. Once in Thenon, continue straight at the traffic lights and turn right towards St Orse and Brouchaud. Drive past the motorway bridge and the railway, then take the first left towards Brouchaud and Gabillou. Keep going straight for 5km until you reach a junction with Gabillou straight ahead and Brouchaud on the left. Turn left at this junction, and after driving for about 700m, make a right turn. You will spot the truffle and your destination, which is home.
