Come and relax at Maison van Stijn! Our charming property is perfectly situated on the outskirts of the picturesque mountain village of Egliseneuve d’Entraigues. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes, lush forests, meadows, streams, and ponds, our location offers the ideal blend of tranquility and natural beauty. Additionally, we are conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from essential amenities such as a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, post office, chemist, and cozy restaurants and bars.

The highlight of our property is its proximity to the enchanting stream La Rhue. A short 5-minute stroll will lead you to this peaceful river, perfect for fishing or simply dipping your toes in the water. This hidden gem is often secluded, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the serenity of the surroundings. For those seeking more adventure, continue on for another 5 minutes to discover the first waterfall of Egliseneuve, with a second one just a little further along.

If you're in the mood for swimming, we are a convenient 15-minute drive away from crystal clear lakes that are perfect for a refreshing dip. Our personal favorite is Lac de Lastioulles, a stunning lake offering various water activities such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and pedal boating. Additionally, there are several outdoor swimming pools within a 15-minute drive. During the summer, we even set up a seasonal swimming pool at Maison van Stijn, measuring 4 meters in diameter, providing enjoyment for all ages. We take great care in maintaining the pool and ensure the water quality is monitored daily.

Our three gites are fully self-contained and offer comfortable and cozy furnishings. The sanitary facilities and electricity are of a high standard. Each bed is equipped with a 4-season duvet, and the mattresses are of excellent quality. We have taken into consideration guests with allergies when choosing the flooring, bed linen, and pillows. Furthermore, we meticulously clean the gites to ensure a pristine environment. Each gite also features one or two private terraces with ample garden furniture. Guests are welcome to explore and relax in our beautiful garden. Our tap water comes from a natural spring and is drinkable, with some even claiming it tastes better than bottled water!

Parking is available in our private car park, conveniently located near your gite.

Our gites are available for hire throughout the year, including during the winter sports season. Additionally, we offer a workshop that can be rented for one or more days. To complete your holiday experience, we invite you to join us for our Table d’Hote, where we prepare a delightful 4-course dinner and become your dining companions.
