Located in the scenic area between Gard and Hérault, near the charming medieval town of Sommières, the Gîte des Bois offers two separate cottages suitable for 2 to 4 people. Nestled peacefully in a park of lush green oaks, with the fragrant scents of the garrigue, this stunning property features a swimming pool and provides a natural and relaxing environment away from the hustle and bustle of the village. The "Bleuette" cottage is housed in a traditional dry stone mazet. It is a single-level accommodation, offering privacy and tranquility. The cottage is air-conditioned and tastefully decorated, with a spacious fenced terrace that overlooks the park. Inside, you'll find a separate bedroom with a comfortable 160-sized bed, a sofa bed in the living room, and a well-equipped open kitchen (including a dishwasher, washing machine, and all essential small appliances). The cottage also features air-conditioning and internet access.
The "Marion" cottage is a cozy studio situated on the ground floor, surrounded by majestic oak trees. It is also air-conditioned and features a large bed (160-sized), a kitchenette equipped with all the necessary amenities, a living room with a sofa (which can accommodate 2 additional guests), and a TV. The cottage includes a pleasant bathroom with a washing machine, as well as a spacious terrace overlooking the landscaped part of the property. Similar to the "Bleuette" cottage, it is equipped with air-conditioning and internet access.
Guests have access to a real swimming pool, a park, a barbecue area, and a boulodrome. Parking is available under the carport within the secured property. Pets are allowed with an additional fee. Beds will be made upon your arrival, and we will take care of the cleaning upon your departure.
As locals passionate about our region, we welcome you with warmth and a friendly atmosphere. Our accommodations are clean and inviting, making you feel right at home. The Gîte des Bois is an ideal place to relax and explore the entire region, as it is conveniently located thirty minutes away from the beaches and the Camargue, along the route to the Cévennes, and in close proximity to the beautiful Peak Saint-Loup.
