My husband, a nurse, and I, a heavy vehicle driver, embarked on a unique and daring project - the complete renovation of a 1929 mansion. Our goal was to bring modern comforts to this historic gem, restore its former beauty, and transform it into a magnificent bed and breakfast. Located in the enchanting Livradois Forez of Auvergne, we have created a haven for our guests, offering two charming guest rooms, eight campsites, a delightful treehouse, and two cozy chalets nestled amidst the captivating forest.Set amidst a sprawling 6,400 m² wooded and landscaped park, our site provides a tranquil and rejuvenating living environment amidst the splendid Thiers mountains. Just 10 km away from Thiers, renowned as the capital of cutlery, and within a convenient distance of 50 km from Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy, our guests have easy access to the wonders of our beautiful region.
We have lovingly named our home "E lu chantauziau," which translates to "birdsong" in the local Auvergnat language. Our park boasts several natural springs and attracts various wild animals, creating a captivating ambiance. Additionally, we have our own collection of cherished pets.
To ensure your relaxation and enjoyment, we provide a library filled with captivating books, a selection of board games, a charming henhouse, a flourishing garden, and numerous spaces dedicated to outdoor relaxation. We warmly welcome your furry companions, as they are an integral part of our warm and inviting atmosphere.
