Bergheim, a picturesque medieval town with a population of 1,800, is centrally located in Alsace. It is renowned for its blossoming beauty, having been awarded 4 flowers by a prestigious "National Jury". The town's half-timbered houses and fortified walls adorned with colorful medieval towers make it an enchanting tourist destination. Furthermore, the exceptional wines produced in its vineyards are known for their powerful and long-lasting flavors.

Within our village, you will find a range of recreational activities, including a bike path, soccer fields, tennis courts, a roller skating rink, mini golf, basketball courts, and a fishing pond. Additionally, hiking enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of scenic trails. Various services and shops are conveniently available on-site, such as a pharmacy, bakery, grocery store, press, library, tourism information center, as well as a selection of cozy inns and restaurants.

Bergheim offers a peaceful retreat and lies along the renowned Wine Route, positioned between Strasbourg and Mulhouse (50km each), and a short distance of fifteen miles from the captivating town of Colmar. Situated in the heart of the vineyards, our village serves as an ideal base for exploring numerous characteristic villages and small towns, including Colmar (20km), Kaysersberg (15km), Riquewihr (7km), Sélestat (7km), Ribeauvillé (3km), among many others.
