Description for B&B:
Situated at the heart of the village, we extend a warm welcome to you in a meticulously restored historic house that once served as the old town hall and school. This remarkable building stands on the foothills of the now-destroyed Castle St Georges.Perched atop a cliff, the village of Saorge boasts a distinctive "Tibetan" ambiance and offers breathtaking views over the Roya Valley. It is conveniently located on the GR52 hiking trail and the scenic Route du Baroque Nisso Ligure. Moreover, it serves as the gateway to both the Mercantour National Park and the Valley of Marvels. With its ideal location between the sea and the mountains, the village is a mere 30km (20 minutes) away from the sea (Ventimiglia) and 70km (1 hour) from Nice.
Each of our tastefully decorated rooms exudes a unique ambiance that perfectly combines comfort and authenticity. They are named after the village's famous fountains: Geija, Caquée, Soutai, Caranca, and Medge. All rooms boast a private bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Furthermore, the rooms are equipped with either a 160cm or 180cm separable bed to suit your preferences.
We are proud to announce that our guest rooms have been awarded the prestigious "label charmance" and have received a three-ear rating.
