The street is lined with stunning mansions from the early twentieth century, and our guesthouse is one of the two houses with semi-detached doors, dating back to 1901. The attic features oeil-de-boeuf windows, giving it a charming Bourgeois appearance.Located in the heart of Calais center, our neighborhood is on the Calais-Nord axis, connected by the picturesque rue Royale. This street leads to the Place d'Armes, where you can find an array of restaurants and shops, just a 16-minute walk away. You can also easily explore various attractions in Calais, such as the theater (1 min), the market on Place Crève-Coeur (9 min), the town hall and its belfry (12 min), or even the beach and the dragon (34 min) during your leisurely walks.
If you are arriving by train, we are conveniently close to three train stations, all less than a 15-minute drive away. The Calais-Fréthun train station, serving Eurostar and TGV, is just 7.5 km (13 min by car), while the Calais-ville train station and the Fontinettes train station are both within a 12-minute walking distance (5 min by car).
If you prefer to explore the city on two wheels, you can easily rent a Vélin bike share, located just a 2-minute walk from our guesthouse near the theater.
