Description:

Description for B&B:

Françoise and Yves have lovingly restored the old nineteenth century café in the charming village. The café now stands as a delightful building, adorned with turquoise shutters, a pergola at the front, and a secluded garden at the back, nestled beneath a hill adorned with trees and flowers of various species.

Within this enchanting place, there are four comfortable bedrooms. One of them is uniquely situated within the antique shop itself, showcasing period décor. Yves, the skilled cabinetmaker, has expertly restored the furniture, while Françoise manages the idea of having guests sleep amidst the treasures discovered in the region within Yves' shop.

The furniture, meticulously restored, complements the redecoration of the shop, resulting in a modern twist amidst the collection of exquisite walnut chests of drawers from the time of Louis-Philippe, country tables, rustic cupboards, antique glasses, slip pots, chandelier pendants, and glazed pottery. This remarkable assortment will leave you pleasantly overwhelmed.

Above the carpenter's workshop, you will find a bright and airy room. Its stairwell is adorned with posters collected by the owners throughout the years, with many originating from the famous Hauterives annual jazz festival. The room itself exudes coziness, furnished with charm, and equipped with a kettle, coffee, and a fridge available in the lobby.

The best BnB we've every stayed in
Review by: Teresa McCarthy , Juil 22 2023 9:23AM
Françoise and Yves have thought of everything and have added wonderful things such as homemade juice and conserves to Fresh croissants and bread each day. The apartment lacked absolutely nothing and they gave us lots of information for our stay. Wonderful facilities and garden to enjoy and right in tow. Thank you
