If you are coming from France, take the Blanche motorway (A40) towards Annemasse. Continue on to Thonon les Bains and then follow the Abondance valley until you reach Châtel. It is approximately 40km from Thonon.
If you are coming from Switzerland, you can either take the route from Bâle to Bern to Vevey, or from Genève or Lausane. Once in Vevey, take the motorway towards Martigny and exit at Monthey. From there, follow the route to pas de morgin and you will reach Châtel, a village right at the border.
