Nestled in a charming village with a 13th-century church, surrounded by picturesque walks and just minutes away from the famous Lascaux caves, Sarlat, and the Eyzies, the Garden of Eden is a tranquil retreat in the heart of the Perigord Noir. Whether you're planning a getaway with friends or quality time with family, our recently redecorated and modernized cottages - The Four, the Chalet, the Oustal, and the Fournil - offer a blend of contemporary comforts and original features such as wooden beams and stone walls.Each cottage is equipped with amenities to make your stay convenient and enjoyable, including a color TV, DVD player, fully-equipped kitchen with electric or gas cookers, ovens, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and all necessary kitchen utensils. Additionally, our landscaped garden features a fenced-off swimming pool, tables, chairs, sun loungers, and various outdoor games for children, such as swings, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and football. Pony trekking is also available for those who want to explore the surrounding nature.
For nature enthusiasts, there are numerous public footpaths, off-road cycling routes, canoeing opportunities, and fishing spots to enjoy. History buffs will be delighted by the abundance of prehistoric caves, dwellings, and castles in the area. And if relaxation and indulgence are what you seek, the Garden of Eden offers fine wines and exquisite Perigordine cuisine.
Additional services, such as sheets, towels, baby equipment, and high chairs, can be requested for an extra fee. Electricity usage is not included in the rental price. We are open year-round, welcoming weekend and long-term guests (excluding high season).
