Description for B&B:
Our site is best described by the key-words tranquillity, nature, privacy, and comfort. Located in the Quercy region of France, Pech Blanc offers a unique experience. The Quercy is a remarkable area, featuring a rugged and hilly plateau of limestone, covered in lush forests, and carved by the river Lot and its contributing streams, Célé and Vers. In 1999, a significant portion of the Quercy was designated as a nature park. Despite its breathtaking beauty, the Quercy remains untouched by mass tourism, earning it the reputation of being the forgotten district even within France. It is a haven for nature lovers, with an extensive network of footpaths and ample opportunities for horse riding. Exploring the Quercy by car or motorcycle also unveils many hidden gems.At Pech Blanc, a traditional stone-built barn was meticulously restored in 2004/2005 to create a welcoming retreat. The accommodation features four spacious bedrooms, including two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. With three double rooms and one family room for three people, there is ample space to accommodate different needs. Additionally, one of the rooms has been specially adapted for wheelchair users. Each room boasts central heating, a private bathroom, and a television. The combination of thick stone walls and modern insulation ensures comfort year-round, with coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. The ground floor rooms offer independent entrances, while the first-floor rooms are accessible via a common staircase. All entrances, including the dining room, open onto the central courtyard. Surrounding the courtyard, you will find the main farmhouse, a garage, and various outbuildings. The dining room provides a cozy atmosphere with an open fire, and the spacious hangar has been transformed into a beautifully decorated lounge, where guests can enjoy drinks and dinner if desired.
