L’Ombre Bleue is a charming Bed & Breakfast that will leave you longing to return. The house has a unique character that transports you to a world of tranquility and joy. The garden is filled with various types of flowers and a blooming tree, ensuring that nature is a part of your stay.There are three bedrooms available, each with its own distinct charm and features. The "Chambre aux Sanguines" was the first to welcome guests and is a bright and cozy room. It has a private bathroom decorated in blue, complete with a bathtub and toilet.
The "Chambre Mandarine" is only available for booking along with the "Chambre aux Sanguines". This warm room features tones of red, yellow, and orange. It has two separate beds and a private bathroom that is not directly connected.
For those seeking a truly romantic experience, there is the "Petite maison au dessus des nuages" or the little house above the clouds. This separate cottage offers a spacious attic room with a double bed and an open bathroom adorned with a "lion paws" bathtub and antique dressing table. The view from the cottage is simply splendid, overlooking the Patis, its lake, ducks, and refreshing trees. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with a convertible sofa that comfortably sleeps two.
In addition to being a wonderful hostess, the owner is also a skilled chef. She prepares delicious French dishes using her secret recipes. The quality of the meals is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. The menu includes surprises on a bed of salad, duck fillets with cherry sauce and wheat seeds, a selection of cheeses, and either profiteroles or homemade chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. The hostess can accommodate your culinary preferences and prepare something special for you.
Complimentary Wi-Fi and a computer are available for guests to use. The house also features an impressive fireplace, known as the "Godin," where fabulous meals are cooked.
