Welcome to La Ferme de Chaouen, a charming modular cottage in the heart of Burgundy. Located in the quaint village of Fulvy near Ancy le Franc, this traditional farmhouse offers the perfect blend of countryside beauty and wine country charm.Surrounded by rolling hills, the property sits alongside the picturesque Armançon River and the Canal de Bourgogne, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and wine enthusiasts alike. Immerse yourself in the Renaissance era as you explore the historic castles, witness the ancient washhouses, and experience the enchanting scents of old Burgundy.
Fully restored and tastefully furnished, Chaouen Farm is a warm and inviting retreat for all seasons. With its spacious layout spanning 350 m2, the cottage can comfortably accommodate anywhere from 5 to 20 guests, making it perfect for vacations, celebrations, and family reunions.
The ground floor, spanning 230 m2, can be rented separately and features a large living room, a games room, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom with a tub and shower, a sauna for two, and a separate toilet. This section comfortably accommodates 5-8 people.
For larger families or groups of friends, an upstairs level accessible by a staircase offers 1, 2, 6, or more rooms, allowing for flexible accommodation options for up to 12 people. There is also a bathroom and toilet on this level for added convenience.
Outside, a secluded patio with a sheltered terrace and patio heaters provides a perfect spot for relaxation. Enjoy sunbathing on the lush lawn or take a refreshing dip in the above ground pool, which is safely accessible via a removable ladder for children. Additionally, there are two barns on the property - one for parking cars and motorcycles, and another for hosting parties and events with friends.
Music enthusiasts will appreciate the fully equipped and acoustically treated music room, which is perfect for rehearsals or compositions.
During colder months, the house is heated by an oil boiler on the ground floor and electric radiators on the upper level.
