Description:

Description for B&B:

The story of Jeanne and accommodation has been ongoing since 1972. It started with lodges and later expanded to include guest rooms in 1999.

But the story doesn't end there. In July 2011, we opened another lodging called "La Maison Jean-Marie," which is specifically designed to be accessible to individuals with reduced mobility. We are currently awaiting certification from "Tourism Handicap."

Additionally, in the autumn, we will begin renovating a barn to create a shelter with a capacity of 8 people, also accessible to those with reduced mobility.

La Maison Jean-Marie features a ground floor with a living-kitchen, a spacious bedroom for 2 people, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath, and a separate toilet, all designed with the needs of individuals with reduced mobility in mind. Upstairs, there is another bedroom for 3 people, with a shower room and separate toilet.

Leontine's House offers 2 double rooms, 2 family suites, a large dining room, a kitchen, and a living area. If you are visiting as a group, you have the option to rent the entire house and enjoy all its amenities. Alternatively, if you are a party of 2, you can choose from the "The Ponthou" room or the "Plouégat" room, which are located on the top floor, providing a picturesque view of the small town of Le Ponthou, the Douron Valley, the viaduct, and the kiosk in the center of the square.

Traveling with children? Consider staying in the "Hortensia" or "Poppy" bedroom suites, which offer separate bedrooms for you and your children.

Our property also features a large park with outdoor seating, allowing you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings in the sunshine or beneath the shade of weeping willow trees.

Francis House can accommodate 2, 4, or 6 people and offers a south-west facing terrace for sunbathing. Recently renovated, it includes 2 bedrooms for parents and children, a bathroom, separate toilet, a kitchen, and a dining room with a fireplace.

Finally, La Maison de Marie consists of a lounge kitchen, a spacious bedroom, and a vibrant bathroom, all decorated with lively colors.

Description for Gite

Jeanne and accommodation have had a longstanding relationship since 1972. Initially starting with lodges, they expanded in 1999 to include guest rooms. However, their journey doesn't end there. In July 2011, they introduced a new gite called 'La Maison Jean-Marie', designed to be accessible for individuals with reduced mobility, pending 'Tourism Handicap' certification. Additionally, they are currently renovating a barn to create a shelter with a capacity of 8 people, also accessible for those with reduced mobility.

La Maison Jean-Marie offers a ground floor living-kitchen area, a spacious bedroom for 2 people, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath, and a separate toilet - all thoughtfully designed for individuals with reduced mobility. On the upper floor, there is another bedroom for 3 people, complete with a shower room and separate toilet.

Leontine's House features 2 double rooms, 2 family suites, a large dining room, a kitchen, and a living area. If you are traveling as a group, you have the option to rent the entire Leontine's House, allowing you to enjoy all the amenities together. From this vantage point, you can admire the small town of Le Ponthou and the Douron Valley, as well as the viaduct and the kiosk located at the center of the square. The property also offers a spacious park with outdoor tables, providing the perfect setting to relax in the sun or seek shade under the weeping willow trees.

Francis House, recently renovated and revamped, can accommodate 2 to 4 people. It features a south-west facing terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the sun. The house offers 2 bedrooms for parents and children, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a kitchen, and a dining room with a fireplace.

Highly recommended

We spent 3 very comfortable nights at Domaine Le Puits de Jeanne in extremely well appointed rooms well located for exploration of the north and west Brittany coasts. The traditional meal of Kig Ha Farz is not to be missed!
