Château de Lahitte is a charming 4-star bed and breakfast located on a serene hillside in the Adour Valley. Originally built in the 18th century as a vineyard, the house was restored in the 19th century and has now been lovingly renovated by the current owners. Surrounded by lush parkland and beautifully landscaped gardens, the property offers a peaceful retreat for guests.The gardens, once vineyards, are now a delightful place to take a leisurely stroll or find a quiet spot for contemplation. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and sauna located in one of the restored outbuildings. On clear days, the stunning summits of the Pyrenees can be seen from the garden.
The guest rooms, located on the first and second floors, provide comfortable and airy accommodation. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom with a toilet. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or in the garden under the canopy of the unique "gloriette" (an open summer house), which is highly recommended on warm summer mornings. Additionally, there are sitting rooms available for guests on the ground floor.
For those interested in outdoor activities, tennis courts and a golf course are conveniently located nearby. The region of Gasgogne offers plenty of opportunities to explore sunflower fields, vineyards, picturesque villages, and breathtaking scenery. This area is also known for its Armagnac production, with the renowned cotes de Saint Mont, Madiran, and Tursan close by. notre dernier sejour
Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce splendide endroit, l'accueil de peter, le maître des lieux fut tellement chaleureux qu'on a eu l'impression d'être invitées chez un ami! Si vous allez dans le coin, surtout n'hésitez pas à prendre le chemin du château lahitte, entouré de nature, sa grande et belle piscine...enfin le bonheur!!
