The house, constructed during the mid-1600s, exudes an abundance of character and charm. It boasts beautiful exposed oak beams, inviting window seats, a traditional inglenook fireplace, and charming flagged floors. The cozy TV lounge features an open log fire, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In the sitting room, guests are invited to indulge in our wide selection of books and games, and even play the piano or other musical instruments. Each of our comfortable bedrooms is tastefully decorated, preserving the period features, and includes a small en-suite bathroom. Unwind in our expansive riverside garden, a sanctuary for wildlife, where the kingfisher is a frequent visitor. Additionally, guests can enjoy private trout fishing, while children can delight in the small play area equipped with a swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating (subject to river conditions). From Monday to Thursday, we offer evening meals showcasing fresh local produce, including traditional favorites like Roast Beef and Yorkshires, as well as Beryl's special bread and butter pudding. Start your day with a hearty full English breakfast. All meals are served around our large oak table, providing the perfect opportunity to share the day's events with fellow guests.
