"The Fraysse Farmhouse" is a charming and characterful cottage located in the beautiful Corrèze region. This detached house, restored in 2011, offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay and provides an ideal setting for relaxation.

For those who appreciate tranquility and nature, this character house is nestled in a small hamlet in Corrèze, close to the stunning Gorges of the Dordogne. With its thick stone walls, inglenook fireplace, typical bassière, exposed beams, and slate roof, the house has retained its original charm.

The 30m² living room is built around a traditional fireplace and is equipped with a stove, a large plasma TV, DVD player, and stereo. We now offer wireless internet access for your convenience.

The kitchen, open to the living room, is fully equipped with an oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is also a separate laundry room.

The house has three bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a double bed and a single bed (wrought iron sofa), and a small room with a single bed. The bathroom features two basins and a bath with a tropical rain shower. There is a separate toilet.

We provide baby equipment, including a cot, highchair, bath, changing mat, potty, and bottle warmer.

Well-behaved pets are allowed, but please inform the owner in advance when making a booking. Smoking is not permitted inside the house, and we kindly ask guests to use the provided ashtrays when smoking outside.

The large 2000m² garden is enclosed by a dry stone wall and offers two lounges, a parasol, barbecue, playground, and badminton equipment.

Whether you're on a family holiday or enjoying time with friends, our house is the perfect base. Depending on your preferences, you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation, engage in various sports activities, or explore the rich cultural heritage of the area.

Nearby attractions include Sédières Castle, Gimel waterfalls, Argentat-sur-Dordogne, a medieval discovery center in Egletons, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Tours de Merle, a medieval farm in Xaintrie, the President Chirac Museum in Sarran, and Tulle. If you're willing to venture further, you can visit the Aubazine canal, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Turenne, Padirac, Pompadour, Rocamadour, Lascaux Cave, the Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes, Sarlat, Figeac, Salers, and Aurillac.
