Welcome to Pognandière, a charming gite located in the heart of Normandy's Orne region, within the beautiful country of Auge. This comfortable and cozy 18th-century half-timbered house can accommodate up to 5 people.Whether you're looking for a night's stay, a weekend getaway, or a week-long retreat, Pognandière provides the perfect setting for a romantic escape, a family vacation, or a gathering of friends. Here, you will discover an exceptional and tranquil site, offering breathtaking views of the picturesque bocage augerons.
Inside the gite, you will find a cozy living room with a traditional Norman fireplace, exposed beams, and tiled floors. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the TV with TNT and DVD player. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and a cellar with a washing machine. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs, you will find a bedroom with two 90cm beds, with the possibility of adding an additional 90cm bed. There is another bedroom with a comfortable 140cm bed. The bathroom offers a hydromassage shower and toilet facilities.
This typical Normandy house features charming half-timbered walls, exposed beams, tiled floors, and beautiful parquet flooring. Outside, you will have access to a private ground and parking space.
Pognandière is surrounded by numerous hiking trails and offers easy access to various attractions in the area. Visit the famous village of Camembert, known for its delicious cheese, just 5km away. Explore the National Stud farm of the Pine, located 13km from the gite. Other nearby attractions include the cities of Caen, Deauville, and Honfleur, as well as the historic D-Day landing beaches, all within a one-hour drive. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even reach Paris in just 2.5 hours.

After leaving Paris, take the A13 highway and continue onto A28 at exit number 16. Proceed for approximately fifteen kilometers to reach the designated neighborhood.
