Situated on the picturesque banks of the Rhone River, our charming residence, Dauphinoise, dates back to 1680 and is a small castle in Vertrieu village. This quaint village is home to two other castles, with the oldest dating back to the 13th century. Our house consists of two apartments and five guest rooms, including a suite. The landscape offers a truly relaxing experience with stunning views of the Bugey mountains. Surrounded by a park spanning over 8000 m2, our property provides direct access to the Rhone River, ensuring absolute tranquility.

Over the course of three years, we have transformed this delightful and functional home into a haven of peace. With various types of accommodations available, guests can enjoy a modern or more stylish experience. With over 30 years of experience as a decorator, as well as extensive travels, my partner and I have created a cozy ambiance that remains practical. We have used high-quality materials, mostly made in France, which have already proven themselves. Our guests will have the pleasure of experiencing our renowned Home CASSIOPEE collection of luxury linens, which are also used in boats, prestigious hotels, and manufactured with Oekotex certification. The decorative objects, paintings, and sculptures in our establishment are created by well-known artists and their value continues to rise.

All of our decorative objects, as well as the majority of the paintings and sculptures, are available for purchase. This allows our guests to appreciate these pieces in a real context and envision them in their own interiors.

Our accommodations include an apartment of 27 m2, equipped with a 140 bed, kitchen, shower, toilet, and all necessary linens and amenities. We also provide Nespresso capsules, tea, a kettle, toaster, microwave, bathrobes, hairdryer, and a flat-screen satellite TV. Additionally, we offer three guest rooms with various features such as side views, trendy colors, and daily cleaning.

Geographically located in the heart of the blue valley, our property is surrounded by 834 km of bike paths, including the Via Rhôna, making it ideal for holidays, relaxation, work, or training. We are also conveniently located near major centers in France, including EDF. The Alps are easily accessible within an hour, offering breathtaking natural landscapes along the way. The serene and peaceful environment will provide a sense of tranquility.

Families with children can enjoy nearby parks, offering activities such as tree climbing and amusement parks like Walibi. The area is also perfect for safe cycling and leisurely walks. Visitors can explore the Caves of Balme, the medieval town of Pérouges, and the bird park of Villars-les-Dombes. For those seeking adventure on the Rhone River, there are opportunities for rafting and jet skiing.

Our location is easily accessible, being 40 km from Lyon, 18 km from the A42 Lagnieu exit, or 1h15 from Geneva via the A42 Ambérieu exit. The nearest airport, Saint Exupéry, is only 35 kms away, approximately a 35-minute drive.
