Description for B&B:
The Château de Jonquières offers guests the opportunity to stay in four uniquely charming guestrooms within an authentic and extraordinary setting. The expansive 2-hectare garden embodies the essence of the Mediterranean, featuring an array of southern trees such as platanes, buis plaqueminiers, micocouliers, lauriers, chênes blancs, and oliviers. A natural spring and a small bamboo forest add to the enchanting ambiance. At the far end of the garden, a transformed ancient irrigation pond measuring 12 meters by 12 meters serves as a refreshing swimming spot. The presence of laurel trees and a maronnier ensures ample shade for relaxation. On the first floor, there is a summer living room that remains cool even during the hottest summer days, complete with a billiard table. The second floor boasts a separate entrance and offers a reading room, a spacious dining area, and a tower designated as the "playroom" for those who enjoy games like bridge, scrabble, and puzzles. All of the bedrooms, situated on the third floor, overlook the picturesque garden. Additionally, a loggia facing the courtyard allows guests to admire the rooftops of Jonquières village as they drift into a peaceful slumber.
