The farmhouse, originally constructed in 1838, has been beautifully renovated into a charming Bed & Breakfast featuring five cozy rooms. Additionally, we have a versatile recreation building called the Blue Lagoon, which serves as a space for sports, games, art, and relaxation. It is also available for workshops, weddings, festivities, and room rentals. Furthermore, we have set up a mini camping area in the meadow.The five bedrooms in the Bed & Breakfast each have their own private bathroom and separate toilet. They are individually themed after places around the world that have left us with cherished memories. All of the rooms offer picturesque views of the garden and the mountains beyond. We have a total of five double rooms.
PtitMonde enjoys a convenient location near the Col de Bonhomme, the Hohneck, and the beautiful lakes of Xonrupt Longemer and Gérardmer. From our terrace, guests can catch a glimpse of the scenic Route de Crêtes. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast seeking tranquility or a motorcycle enthusiast, our establishment is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Our yard has been meticulously transformed into a sunny garden, providing the ideal setting to unwind in the sun, by the pond, in a hammock, on the grass, or in one of our shaded seating areas. The Blue Lagoon is also available for activities such as ping-pong, table football, music, and exploring our mini flea market.
During the winter season, PtitMonde warmly welcomes guests who are passionate about skiing. The popular ski resorts of La Bresse, Gérardmer, and Lac Blanc are located nearby. Adjacent to our property, you can follow a stunning snowshoe trail. At the end of an adventurous day, guests can relax near the fireplace in our central living room, while enjoying the comfort of mulled wine and hot cocoa.
Culinary excellence is of utmost importance at PtitMonde. All of our meals are meticulously prepared using fresh ingredients. The flavors and dishes we have encountered during our travels are reflected in our menu. Our three-course dinner takes guests on a global culinary journey, representing various countries and cuisines.
Start your day with our generous buffet breakfast, offering a wide array of options. Surprise yourself with a delightful PtitMonde lunch, featuring a selection of warm and cold meals, fresh smoothies, wholesome cakes, salads, deluxe sandwiches, and homemade soup.
In the evening, indulge in our exquisite three-course dinner, showcasing the diverse flavors we have discovered during our travels around the world. From France to Russia, Spain to Indonesia, Italy to Africa, each meal is thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients, many of which come from our own vegetable garden. We also cater to vegetarian preferences.
Coffee enthusiasts will delight in our luxury coffee bean espresso machine, which can prepare a range of beverages from ristrettos to latte macchiatos. It also offers different temperature settings for hot water, perfect for tea lovers. We have an extensive selection of (herbal) teas, including our own homemade herbal blends.
We are happy to accommodate gluten allergies upon request, and we can also cater to the dietary guidelines of Chris Verburgh's "The Food Hourglass."
For those on the go, we offer convenient lunchboxes filled with fruits, snacks, soft drinks, and a sandwich made with French bread or homemade bread. Alternatively, you can enjoy a choice of warm and cold meals in our dining room for lunch, accompanied by fresh smoothies, wholesome cakes, salads, deluxe sandwiches, and homemade soup.
Our buffet-style breakfast includes homemade bread, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, croissants, chocolate bread, homemade brioche, or fresh French bread from the local bakery. We also provide cottage cheese, muesli, tea/coffee, freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, honey, butter, cheese, and cold meats.
Coffee and tea are available throughout your stay. The entire Bed and Breakfast is equipped with central heating.

Description for Gite
Our gîte, named "Grand Voyage," offers a spacious open kitchen, living room, and three comfortable bedrooms for two people each. It is fully equipped to accommodate up to six guests.The kitchen/living room area spans 33 square meters, while the bedrooms are sized at 21, 20, and 16 square meters respectively. Each bedroom comes with its own private bathroom and toilet facilities.
The gîte features a 4-burner electric stove, an oven, and a microwave for all your cooking needs. Additionally, there is a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a kettle, and a coffee maker provided. WIFI is also available for your convenience.
The gîte can be rented for a minimum of four days. Please note that the minimum age requirement for guests is 16 years and older.
Located within the same building as the chambre d'hôtes, gîte residents have access to all the facilities offered to the chambre d'hôtes guests. These amenities include a TV room, an information corner, a garden, a recreation room with a piano and table tennis table, a washing machine, and a minibar. You can also enjoy the convenience of the breakfast buffet and have a delightful evening at the table d'hôtes.
The rental price for the gîte is 175 euros per day. This includes the cost of cleaning, bed linen/towels, electricity, and heating. However, please note that the tourist tax of 0.50 euros per person per night is not included in the price.
During the period from October 1 to May 1, there is an additional contribution of 15 euros per day for heating costs.

2. Continue in the direction of Strasbourg, Colmar.
3. Approximately 40km before reaching Colmar, you will pass Saint Dié. Take the Gerardmer exit.
4. After about 15 km, at the roundabout in Anould, follow the sign for Fraize.
- After the roundabout, take the second street on your right (approximately 500 m after the roundabout) with the PtitMondeOnline logo.
- Keep left on Rue Jeanne d'Arc, a long and winding road.
- After about 1 km, take the first road on your left.
- Follow this road for about 2.5 km until you reach a T-junction. Turn right here, following the sign for PtitMonde.
- After 200 m, you will arrive at your destination: PtitMonde.
- Follow the signs to the parking area and proceed to check in at the Entrance.
- Loading and unloading can be done at the entrance.
