Description for B&B:
Experience the dream at "Au Passage du Gois" in Beauvoir-sur-Mer, situated along the stunning Vendée coastline just 800m from the Atlantic Ocean. This holiday region, located primarily in the Atlantic Loire area, offers abundant sun, sea, and beaches, all within a convenient distance of less than 400 kilometers from the port of Cherbourg and approximately 200 kilometers north of Bordeaux. Known for its beautiful sandy beaches and unique microclimate, the Vendée boasts the second highest number of sunshine hours in France after the Rivièra (and the beer is much cheaper here too!). Whether you visit in the summer or any other season, you will be captivated by the charm and attractions found both along the coast and inland. Discover more about this enchanting destination on our website www.aupassagedugois.com.At our establishment, we offer a brand-new holiday cottage for up to 4 people, housed in a converted sheep stable. The spacious living room features a fully equipped kitchen, while the accommodation includes two sleeping rooms, one with a double bed (160x200) and the other with two single beds (90x200). Additionally, there is a bathroom, separate toilet, and amenities such as TV with TNT-sat, DVD player, and the option to rent towels and bed linens. The cottage also boasts a garden and private parking, complete with table, chairs, and sun loungers. Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool (4.6x7.6m) with two other gites accommodating a total of 6 people. A barbecue is available for use, and we offer complimentary baby equipment rental. Stay connected with our WiFi service, and take advantage of free private parking during your stay.
Within walking distance, at the entrance of the Passage du Gois, you will find three restaurants. Alternatively, you can join us for our own superb table d'hôte dinners. With a coastline stretching 240 kilometers, including 140 kilometers of pristine sandy beaches, the Vendée is a top destination for holiday-goers in France. The coast offers a wide range of attractions, from picturesque fishing towns and impressive rock formations to the charming islands of Ile Noirmoutier and Ile d'Yeu, as well as vibrant coastal towns and the magnificent nature of the Passage du Gois, known for its abundant birdlife. Sports enthusiasts will find numerous options, including windsurfing, kite surfing, sand sailing, golfing, walking, cycling, and horseback riding. Families with children can enjoy water parks, zoos, and aquariums in addition to the beaches. The Vendée also boasts a rich history, evident in its green and rolling countryside known as the Bocage, which is home to museums, historical monuments, castles, and abbeys. We have all the information you need to explore these cultural treasures. For a truly unforgettable experience, don't miss the historical amusement park, Puy du Fou, which takes visitors on a fantastic journey through 2000 years of history. Just like the coast, the Bocage offers a wide range of walking and cycling routes, taking you along lakes and rivers, as well as through the wine regions in the southern part of the Vendée. It's time to enjoy a well-deserved holiday. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
