Christine is a wonderfully warm, very helpful and interesting host. All the previous reviews are very true, a very warm welcome, always happy to assist with any questions you may have. A wonderful homemade breakfast, delicious yoghurt, croissants and cereals. Very comfy beds and Christine is very fluent in English which was so comforting. Thank you so much Christine for making us so welcome and all your help with getting our car back to Paris. We made it Christine and now home in Australia. Thank you for your many kindnesses. We were sad to leave. Bill and Helen.

Stayed with the perfect host Christine for 4 nights in August 2016, this first class accomodation is located in the center of the somme battlefields. Stayed with Christine in 2008 and will be there again in 2016. Hope this place doesn;t become TOO POPULAR (only joking). Warm, friendly, beautiful and fabulously situated for those interested in WW1 and the gorgeous Picardy region in general. Can' rate Christine's hospitality high enough. Rooms have been booked for 7 yrs now.
Somme Area Visit
Review by: Trevor, Anita & Matthew Mortimer, Dec 15 2014 1:05PM
We visited the Albert region in Oct 2014, spending four nights at Chambres d'hôtes L'Amartinierre. Christine & her family were the perfect hosts and extremely welcoming and I would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation. I and my stepdaughter will hopefully be visiting the area in 2015 and will certainly stay with Christine again. The experience is what we'd consider to be a typical French rural homestead, very quiet but never far from destinations we were visiting. Very enjoyable!!
A warm welcome
