Description for B&B:
Welcome to OLD MAS - 2130 Route Palunettes - 13690 Graveson. If you are a lover of Provence, nature, tranquility, and a friendly atmosphere, then our guest rooms are perfect for you. Experience the charm of staying in a 13th-century monastery that was once occupied by Celestine monks who produced wine for the Avignon popes. You will have the opportunity to sleep between the ancient walls that have stood for 700 years, immersing yourself in the history and beauty of the building. In our commitment to preserving nature and wildlife, we refrain from using chemical weed killers and instead manually remove the grass. The soft cotton satin sheets that adorn our beds are dried under the warm Provence sun, eliminating the need for harsh cleaning agents. With a genuine appreciation for noble materials such as stone, iron, and wood, we have thoughtfully restored this magnificent house to provide you with maximum comfort during your stay.
Every morning, our daughter Maéva prepares a generous and delicious breakfast using high-quality ingredients. Indulge in a variety of pastries made fresh daily, using eggs from our own chickens and organic honey. We also serve homemade yogurt made with organic milk, along with croissants, fresh bread, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Located at a strategic crossroads, our guesthouse allows you to easily explore the beauty and heritage of Provence and its surroundings. Just 6km away is Avignon, home to the famous Palace of the Popes and the iconic Pont Benezet. St Rémy de Provence, renowned for its international fame, is only 8km away. The picturesque Les Baux de Provence, known for its stunning lights and historic quarries, is also within close proximity. Other nearby attractions include Tarascon with its magnificent castle, the Roman city of Arles with its Arlaten museum, the enchanting Fountain of Vaucluse, the charming Isle sur la Sorgue, and the iconic Pont du Gard.
