Description:

Description for B&B:

The Segau is a Gascon farmhouse constructed entirely from stone during the late 18th century. It was a large-scale operation back then, spanning over 100 hectares, with multiple families residing together. The farmer resided in the eastern half of the building, while 4-5 sharecroppers occupied the western part with their families. This portion has been transformed into five guest rooms.

Presently, our operations cover 53 hectares surrounding the farm buildings. We practice organic farming and our land is intersected by the "Osse" river. Our main focus is the cultivation of cereals, particularly wheat, soybeans, lentils, and beans. Situated in the heart of Ténarèze, our location boasts a picturesque hilly landscape, offering glimpses of the Pyrenees.

During the restoration of this farmhouse, we aimed to preserve the original building's essence. The materials chosen and the restoration techniques employed reflect the construction methods of that era, including stone walls, jointing, and whitewashing. Additionally, we have provisions for accommodating ten horses and motorcycle storage facilities.
