Description for B&B:

The farm, constructed in the 19th century, had a rich history of housing highly successful horses and breeding foals until around 1970. It served as a central hub for a thriving equine business, and accommodations were provided for the workers in various houses and apartments. Currently, three of these buildings have been repurposed as breeding facilities, known as "Estuary," "Médoquine," and "Gironde." With a focus on preserving its rural charm, this spacious and historic structure underwent renovations. Situated on 13 acres of meadowland on the outskirts of town, you will immediately reconnect with nature's beauty. Our unique lifestyle and land have attracted numerous visitors, and we invite you to experience it for yourself.

We offer three guest houses and two well-appointed rooms, accommodating up to 25 people, making it an ideal choice for both family gatherings and group vacations. Located just 8 kilometers from stunning beaches and 3 kilometers from the estuary, our farm is nestled in the heart of the northern Médoc region, aptly known as the "Petite Camargue." As you explore our expansive meadow, you will encounter our playful donkeys and their adorable offspring, pygmy goats, ponies, and various other charming farm animals. The joy and tranquility that emanate from our surroundings will leave you feeling content and at peace.

Appréciations pour Ferme du Marais, Saint Vivien de Médoc:

Ferme du Marais - gite Margaux
Review by: Georges B., Mai 11 2016 4:22PM
Super gîte: propreté, déco, tout équipé même les allumettes pour le barbecue; très spacieux même à 10 personnes; les enfants ont appréciés les animaux. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires. Bravo
