Description for B&B:
Come and experience the exceptional quality of life in our stunning green department with its diverse landscapes! Prepare to be amazed by the ever-changing scenery and the unique architecture of our all-wood house igloo, which is not only environmentally friendly but also entirely self-built by its owner. Made entirely of untreated wood sourced from sustainably managed forests, this structure adheres to the highest standards of construction. We have also implemented various eco-friendly features, such as rainwater harvesting, thermodynamic water heating, a Canadian well ventilation system, and a micro-treatment plant. In addition, we use only green cleaning products and practice biodegradable waste separation. We are excited to share our extraordinary concept, as well as our eco-conscious lifestyle choices, with you. Our commitment to sustainability extends to our food as well. We grow our own vegetables without any chemicals, and our organic fruit is used to make homemade apple juice and jams. We offer two comfortable rooms on the first floor, each equipped with a double bed (140cm). A cot can be added upon request, at no extra cost. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. We also have a children's room on the ground floor, if needed. Adjacent to the bedrooms, you will find a mezzanine, lounge area, library, and wireless internet access. We invite you to relax and enjoy our spacious living room, which we happily share with our guests. Our house boasts an ideal location on the outskirts of Verdun and within close proximity to the famous Battle Field and the Cotes de Meuse. It is surrounded by the beautiful plum paradise and offers wonderful walking opportunities, including routes to Lake Madine via Bonzée and the Mallard. We are also conveniently located within an hour's drive from the regional capitals of Metz and Nancy, as well as Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amnéville, renowned for its thermal resort, zoo, and indoor ski slope. We can also provide information on various local activities, such as tree climbing at "Drill-scape," barefoot sensory paths, superbubbles, canoeing on the Meuse River, cycling routes, a corn maze, and cultural experiences, including museums and the Sound & Light show "From Flames to Light." You can also explore the Argonne region and discover pottery or visit a dragee factory to learn about local products.Reviews
