Description for B&B:
Auberge Les Liards is located in the picturesque Livradois-Forez natural regional park, known as the balcony of the Livradois region. This name is fitting, as the area offers breathtaking views of the volcanic chain of the Auvergne. Situated atop an ancient volcano at an elevation of 800 meters, our guesthouse provides an unforgettable panorama, particularly during sunset. The Livradois region is characterized by rolling hills, charming villages, and secluded hamlets. It remains an undiscovered gem, offering an authentic and tranquil experience. Here, one can wander for hours without encountering another tourist, immersing themselves in nature's beauty and the serenity of the golden-hued villages.
Our comfortable rooms each feature a private bathroom, and we can also accommodate larger families or groups of friends by connecting certain rooms. With a total of four rooms, our guesthouse can easily accommodate up to 16 people. Two rooms are located on the second floor of the main building, sharing a cozy sitting lounge. The remaining two rooms are situated in a separate building, providing stunning views of the Auvergne volcanoes. These rooms have been renovated using natural and ecological materials, with the newest addition, the Nepal room, exclusively utilizing eco-friendly materials.
Imagine starting your summer mornings with a delightful breakfast outside, accompanied by the melodic chorus of birdsong and a captivating view. Afterward, you can visit our friendly animals, including sheep, horses, donkeys, geese, and rabbits, all while being accompanied by our majestic peacocks. If you desire, we offer dinner options at our guesthouse, including half-board arrangements. In our kitchen, we prioritize local, fresh, and often organically grown ingredients. During the summer months, we organize weekend concerts (from July 15th to August 20th) which are held outdoors on the terrace, weather permitting.
