To reach Rambouillet, take the D910 in the direction of Rambouillet by Door of Saint-Cloud. Then, continue on the RN10 and take the N123 towards Le Mans. Finally, follow the D921 towards Illiers-Combray.

To reach Nantes, take the A6 in the direction of Bordeaux-Nantes, by Door of Orléans. Then, continue on the A10 and A11 towards Nantes. Take exit 2: Chartres Est and follow the signs for "Le Mans" (N123). Finally, follow the D921 towards Illiers.
Access by road from the province:
- If coming from Tours and the southwest, take the RN10.
- If coming from Brittany, take the D923.
- If coming from Rouen to Orléans, take the RN154.
