Welcome to Villa du Parc, a stunning manor built in the 1930s that now offers a selection of delightful self-catered holiday apartments and two charming B&B rooms. With its magnificent view and prime location near the center of Prades, our property is ideally situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the ski slopes of the Pyrenees.Our manor features a cozy chimney lounge, complete with a fireplace and comfortable armchairs, as well as free internet access, games, books, magazines, and a video projector. Additionally, we have a dining room and a terrace where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. For your convenience, we also offer a large underground garage where you can store and work on your bikes, skis, and other equipment.
The grounds surrounding the manor span over 8000 square meters (approximately three acres) and boast century-old trees, providing a picturesque view of the Pyrenees. We have a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi for you to unwind and enjoy, as well as deck chairs and other seating options, a barbecue area, and a playground for children. Villa du Parc is located on the outskirts of Prades, allowing you to reach the town center in just ten minutes on foot. There, you can explore restaurants, cinemas, concerts, shops, and the weekly market.
Thanks to Prades' unique location, you have endless possibilities for your favorite holiday activities. Within a forty-five-minute drive, you can soak up the sun on the beach or go hiking and skiing at altitudes over two thousand meters (approximately seven thousand feet). Our Mediterranean climate also allows for year-round rock climbing, spelunking, canyoning, white-water kayaking, and paragliding. Additionally, you can take a ride on the "yellow train," a narrow-gauge railway that traverses a scenic valley to reach the high plateau of the nearby mountains.
If you're interested in exploring the local culture, there are several attractions worth visiting, including fortresses designed by Vauban, Cathar castles, the Dali museum or house, the Casals festival, and numerous beautiful abbeys.
