Description for B&B:
La Souqueto, a beautifully restored Maison Bourgeoise, takes its name from the vines that provide shade to both the front and back of the house. With a perfect blend of antique and modern furnishings, this house is located on the outskirts of the village, offering a tranquil setting where you can hear the soothing sounds of the river while still being in the heart of the old medieval center. The ambiance at La Souqueto is warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are countless opportunities to indulge your senses and stimulate your mind and body. Our breakfast spread includes freshly brewed coffee, tea, croissants, breads, preserves, and fresh fruit. We also like to surprise our guests with a seasonal treat, such as a delicious tart, a layered yogurt and fruit cup, or a tempting cake. The house is adorned with captivating decor and artifacts, and there are extensive libraries and a bright, spacious artist's studio that provide ample artistic inspiration. For moments of private relaxation, you can retreat to our roof terrace or small patio. The rooms are charmingly decorated, and we provide toiletries, hairdryers, and fluffy towels. If there's anything else you need, simply ask, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Should you wish to dine in, we offer evening meals upon request. Alternatively, there are two restaurants within walking distance, one conveniently located nextdoor and another along the river. The village itself offers various recreational activities, including swimming, petanque, tennis, fishing, and horseback riding.
