In our château, the names Marie dYvetôt, Anne de Frézeau, and Julie de la Lorie have been well-known for ages as these women were princesses of Gizeux. Since 2004, these names have also become the designations of our charming guest house bedrooms. These bedrooms are beautifully furnished with antique pieces and feature a comfortable double bed measuring 160*200 (or two beds measuring 80*200 upon request), a cozy fireplace, and a private bathroom equipped with a spacious shower, two sinks, and a separate toilet. Additionally, two of our bedrooms, connected by a small corridor, can be transformed into a family suite. To start your day off right, we offer a generous breakfast that includes croissants and chocolate bread.Description for Gite
Our retreat, named "Contades" in tribute to Général Marquis de Contades-Gizeux, is situated within the chateau and has its own separate entrance. The retreat comprises a first floor equipped with a kitchenette including hotplates, an oven, and a fridge, a dining room, and a spacious library/living room with a comfortable loveseat.On the second floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed measuring 140cm (or 2 single beds measuring 70cm each), along with a bathroom and a separate toilet.
If desired, the retreat can provide access to the Julie de la Lorie suite on the ground floor. This suite features a bedroom for two people, a cozy sitting area that can accommodate an additional bed, and a large bathroom.

Directions
If you are arriving from Paris, take the A10 until you reach Tours. From there, continue on the A85 towards Angers and take the Langeais exit (number 7). Follow the D57 and then the D15 until you reach Gizeux.
If you are coming from the West of France, take the A85 towards Tours and take the fifth exit for Bourgueil. From there, follow the signs for Gizeux.
