Welcome to our charming accommodation! This cottage offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a large living room complete with a cozy lounge area, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom features a shower, and there is a separate toilet for your convenience.Situated on the lower level of a beautifully renovated water mill, this cottage boasts two terraces: one facing south and the other facing west, both elevated on stilts. The natural surroundings are truly enchanting, with a lovely garden where the owner has set aside a special space for you to relax and unwind amidst the lush greenery. You can easily park your car near the house.
Despite the peacefulness of the natural setting, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that the center of our small town, with its array of shops, is only a 5-minute walk away. The town is also bordered by a picturesque lake, which once served as a reservoir for a series of tannery mills, including ours. You'll have the opportunity to engage in various water activities, such as fishing and swimming, as well as take advantage of a nearby 25-meter swimming pool. Additionally, hiking trails conveniently start right in front of the house.

Travel directions to the Triskel Bertaud Eco-Cottage:
- If you are coming from Rennes, take the N137 road towards Nantes. The cottage is approximately 30 kilometers or a 20-minute drive from the southern entrance to Rennes.
- If you are coming from Nantes or Vitre, take the N137 road towards Rennes. The cottage is approximately 75 kilometers or a 50-minute drive from the northern entrance of Nantes, and approximately 55 kilometers or a 50-minute drive from Vitre.
- If you are coming from Redon or La Gacilly, the cottage is approximately 40 kilometers or a 40-minute drive away.
- From Saint-Malo, the cottage is approximately 100 kilometers or a 1-hour drive away.
- From Mont Saint-Michel, the cottage is approximately 120 kilometers or a 1 hour and 20-minute drive away.
Transportation options:
- By train: Take the TGV to Rennes, which takes 20 minutes, and then take the TER train to the Messac-Guipry station, which takes an additional 10 minutes.
- By plane: Rennes (Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande) airport is a 25-minute drive away, while Nantes Atlantique Airport is a 55-minute drive away.
- Alternatively, you can reach the cottage by biking or walking, as there are walking paths and MTB/Hybrid routes near the house.
To access the Triskel Bertaud Eco-Cottage from the town center, follow these steps:
- Take the D3772 road in the direction of RERC-EN-LAMEE and pond Bain de Bretagne (east).
- After crossing a bridge and seeing the pond on your right, take the first left onto the Quarries/Bertaud road.
- Continue for a short distance until you see a sign that says "Bertaud."
- The eco-lodge will be on your left. Welcome!
