Welcome to our charming cottage in Saint Pe de Bigorre, just 9 km from the famous town of Lourdes. Experience peace and tranquility while enjoying breathtaking views of the mountains.Our cottage can accommodate up to 4 people and offers 40m² of cozy living space. The first floor features a bedroom with a comfortable 140 bed and an alcove with two single beds. On the ground floor, you'll find a spacious living/dining room equipped with a TV and DVD player, as well as a wood stove nestled in the old fireplace for those cozy evenings by the fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with a freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. The bathroom includes a washing machine, and there is a separate toilet.
Outside, in our lovely 300m² garden, you can relax on the terrace while taking in the stunning mountain views and the beautiful Gave de Pau. We provide a table, chairs, two loungers, a parasol, and a barbecue for your enjoyment.
There is plenty to do in the area. You can explore the numerous marked hiking trails, suitable for all levels, as well as mountain bike trails. Other activities include tennis, caving, kayaking, rafting, trout fishing, hunting, and mushroom picking in the picturesque autumn landscapes starting from September. Nearby attractions include lakes, a zoo, pony rides, golf courses, spas, and the renowned cheese and wine route.
Don't miss the opportunity to visit the fascinating caves of Bétharram, the breathtaking circus of Gavarnie, the famous Pic du Midi, the charming town of Cauterets, the Pyrenees National Park, and the stunning Great Lakes such as Gaube and blue Estaing.
Within a short distance of less than 10 km, you can also explore the town of Lourdes, visit the sacred Grotto and take part in the pilgrimage (especially the Rosary in October), and explore the castle and museums.
