Description:

Description for B&B:

Pailloles is a quaint village located to the north of the Share and Garonne region. The Farm Couderc, situated just 40km from both Agen and Bergerac, 12km from Villeneuve-On-Share, 10km from Cancon, and 8km from Casseneuil, rests at the foot of Castelnaud of Gratecambe, facing the Golf by the RN21.

The village of lodgings, known as "The Farm Couderc," occupies a 14ha estate of hilly prairies. Its various stone buildings, most of which date back to the 16th century, include The barn, The Plum Oven, The storeroom, The cellar, The Sheepfold, and The house. These buildings offer comfortable and welcoming living spaces, complete with terraces, barbecues, and some even have enclosed gardens.

For the relaxation of both young and old, The Farm Couderc offers a range of amenities, such as a heated swimming pool with a solarium (open from April to September), sports fields for soccer, volleyball, and pétanque, playgrounds, a trampoline, a game room with ping-pong and baby soccer, a fitness area with a spa, hammam, and sauna (additional fee), enclosures with Shetland ponies and dwarf goats, as well as a barnyard. The restaurant, "The Baptistine," is open daily and serves traditional and local dishes for dine-in or takeout. They also offer a half-board option (for adults and children) with morning and evening meals, as well as themed evenings during the summer season. Covered and uncovered parking is available.

There are plenty of attractions to visit in the surrounding area, such as the Bastides, Castles, Tasting Farms, Animation Parks, Museums, and Farmer's Markets. Additionally, you can enjoy walks along the Share River, relax at various lakes suitable for swimming or fishing, and explore the different vineyards of Share and Garonne, including Buzet, Lasted, Marmandais, and the small but charming countryside. Let's not forget that this region is known for its sunny orchards and the famous Plum of Splices, which becomes the Prune of Agen after drying. It is also a paradise for duck farming, with delicacies like foie gras, Magret, and Garbure that will tantalize your taste buds.

For those seeking more active pursuits, the Farm Couderc is conveniently located near various sports and leisure activities, such as equestrian sports, golfing, fishing, water sports, hiking, cycling, and even aeronautics.

To reach the Farm Couderc by road, take the RN21 from Villeneuve-On-Share for 12km in the direction of Bergerac, facing the Golf of Villeneuve-On-Share, then turn left. From Bergerac, be cautious after Cancon and do not take the road to Pailloles. Instead, continue on the RN21 and, after Castelnaud of Gratecambe, facing the Golf on the RN21, turn right.

Appréciations pour La Ferme Couderc, Pailloles:

Avis sur le Village de Gites de la Ferme Couderc - 47 (Lot et Garonne)
Review by: Anne, Aou 24 2010 6:21PM
