With over a decade of dedicated hospitality, they have created a truly magnificent holiday destination. This historic complex, encompassing 5.5 hectares of lush parkland, offers a delightful selection of guest rooms within the main building, charming holiday apartments in the outbuildings, and enchanting gipsy caravans nestled at the forest's edge.As the day draws to a close, Saskia and Martijn extend an invitation to their guests to join them for an exquisite dining experience at the table d'hôtes. Whether it be a festive gathering under a covered long table outside or within the Grand Salon, adorned with its majestic fireplace, an unforgettable evening awaits. For those who relish culinary adventures, enjoy golfing, hiking, cycling, or simply indulging in the finer things in life, special arrangements can be made to cater to your desires.

Description for Gite
We offer 6 charming gîtes with 2 - 4 bedrooms, each featuring a well-appointed bathroom with a washbasin, bath, and separate shower. Additionally, there is a separate toilet for your convenience. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities such as a vitro-ceramic plate, extractor, combination microwave, large refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment, dishwasher, Senseo coffeemaker, kettle, blender, toaster, and all necessary cooking utensils and crockery. All rooms are fitted with electric heating to ensure your comfort. Stay connected with our complimentary Wi-Fi available in each gîte. Please note that there is no TV, but a radio/cassette/CD player is provided.Our gîtes also boast a lovely terrace furnished with teak garden furniture, a parasol, and a barbecue, creating the perfect outdoor space for relaxation.
For your convenience, our cottages are available for weekly rentals. Bedding and towels are provided (1 set per person per week). Please remember to bring your own towels for use outside, such as by the swimming pool. Additionally, we provide a start package which includes coffee pads, tea, waste disposal bags, cleaning materials, and toilet paper.
The final clean-up will be taken care of by our staff, so you can enjoy your stay without any worries. We understand that your furry friends are important to you, which is why we allow pets in our cottages after consultation in advance (surcharge may apply).

Coordinates: 01°4607.35 longitude and latitude 45°5933.10. Upon arrival, we kindly ask you to drive up to the courtyard and park your car at the parking lot after unloading the luggage.
- If you are coming from Bourganeuf, take the D941 towards Gueret/Clermont-Ferrand. After approximately 300 m outside the built-up area, take a left onto the D940A towards Bosmoreau-les-Mines. You will find the entrance gate of l'Abbaye du Palais on your right-hand side after around 4 km on this road.
- If you are coming from Guéret, take the D940 towards Pontarion/Bourganeuf. After passing the Forêt domanial de Chabrières, take a right onto the D940A towards la Chapelle Taillefert. Continue on this road for about 18 km and cross the bridge over the Thaurion. After approximately 500 m, you will find the entrance gate of l'Abbaye du Palais on your left.
- If you are coming from Aubusson, take the D941 towards Limoges. In Pontarion (just before the river), turn right onto the D10 towards Bosmoreau-les-Mines. After 2.5 km, turn left onto the D43 towards Bosmoreau-les-Mines. After 3 km, turn left onto the D940A towards Bourganeuf. Follow this road for approximately 3 km and cross the bridge over the Thaurion. After around 500 m, you will find the entrance gate of l'Abbaye du Palais on your left.
