The accommodation is a charming four-storey house located in the heart of Bagnères de Bigorre in the Hautes Pyrenees. Situated in the pleasant residential square, Place Jeanne d’Albret, it is just a two-minute walk to the town centre where guests can find a variety of shops, markets, bakeries, restaurants, cafés, and churches. Recently renovated, the house maintains its original features whenever possible, giving it a traditional French townhouse charm while still offering all the modern amenities necessary for comfortable living.Inside, there is a traditional dining room connected to a modern kitchen. On the second floor, there are three double bedrooms, two of which are adjoining (one double and two singles), and another separate double bedroom. Two of the bedrooms also have balconies that overlook the square. Guests staying in these bedrooms have exclusive access to a nearby bathroom with a shower and toilet. Additionally, the third-floor attic rooms can accommodate three more guests, providing wash sinks and access to a sunny roof terrace. There is also another bathroom with a bath and shower on the first floor, along with two additional toilets.
For breakfast, guests can request their preferred options, whether it be a Continental and French-style breakfast or a more familiar choice of cereal, toast, and eggs.
Evening meals can be arranged upon request, with the host being a skilled cook who can cater to guests' preferences. Inspired by local traditional cuisine, the inclusive menu typically consists of four courses paired with wine. More information about prices can be found on the "prices" page.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, free for guests to use. A comfortable lounge with a TV, offering both French and UK channels, is exclusively available for guests. The host also has a wide collection of DVDs in both languages. Bicycles and ski equipment can be stored, and street parking is free. Finding me is very simple. I am located in close proximity to the Thermes, situated between the Place d'Uzer and the Tour des Jacobins. Additionally, I am only about 100 meters away from the pedestrianized Place de Strasbourg. Sat navs will have no trouble directing you to my location.
